Oxford Taxis in Keighley has asked parents to speak to their children after reporting that one of its drivers had their car egged twice in just a few days.
In a message shared by Private Hire & Taxi Monthly (PHTM), the firm said the latest incident happened outside Oakworth Park between 7pm and 8pm. It said two photographs accompanying its appeal showed the same vehicle, taken days apart.
The driver now faces time away from work to clean the car, according to the company. For someone earning a living behind the wheel, that means an interruption to their working day as well as the mess itself.
Oxford Taxis urged parents whose children had been in the park at the time to discuss what happened with them. The appeal does not establish who was responsible.
The firm also asked people not to waste food, suggesting that spare eggs could instead be donated to a food bank.
